Home Health & Adult Day HealthCare Nurse
Part-time · 8–24 hours per week
Reports to the Home Health Manager or the Adult Day HealthCare Manager
Registered Nurse support across NCCOA's Home Health and Adult Day HealthCare departments — a role that blends clinical oversight with the day-to-day warmth of our Club program. On Club days you're on site for the whole day, lunch included, with the members.
What you'd do
- Provide nursing supervision for home health clients and staff, working alongside the Home Health Manager
- Conduct timely in-home client intake and recertification assessments
- Provide training oversight to Certified Nursing Assistants and Home Health Aides
- With the ADHC Manager, oversee and facilitate a welcoming, nurturing, stimulating, and enjoyable daily program of therapeutic activities
- Oversee staff assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs) for seniors with chronic illness, dementia, Alzheimer's disease, and other cognitive deficits
What you'll need
- An active Florida RN or LPN license
- At least a year of staff supervisory experience in a social or health care setting, and a year supporting people with Alzheimer's disease or other dementias
- Experience with older adults or other vulnerable people in a customer-focused environment
- Level 2 background check through DOEA and AHCA, and a negative TB test
- HIPAA certification and four hours of Alzheimer's Disease Initiative training — Certified Food Safety Manager is a plus
- A valid driver's license and use of your own vehicle for outreach and home visits
- Able to lift 50 pounds
